Downriver on the Yanayacu there are three villages which the Loving Light Amazon Lodge staff has "adopted."  These are San Juan, Junin, and Ayacucho. Each village has anywhere from 50 to 100 inhabitants.  A portion of our profits will go to providing medical supplies and other necessities to these villages.  Doctors and dentists who are willing to provide medical/dental care are invited to stay at the Loving Light Lodge as our guests.

All three villages as well as the Loving Light soccer team come together for a day of soccer and celebration at San Juan village.  The villagers take both their soccer and volleyball very seriously.

Fishing Villages
