What to Bring and Wear In the rainforest of the Loving Light Amazon Lodge there is neither a rainy nor dry season as in most tropical areas. Just four degrees south of the equator, we have only two "seasons." From December through May is our "high water" season caused by melting snow from the mountains during their summer and from the rainy season in the upper jungle. From approximately June-November is our "low-water" season. While the water level can change more than 45 feet, our climate, warm and humid,
is relatively constant throughout the year. Normal daytime highs are 88 degrees F
and night time lows are 72 degrees F. Also, bring plenty of film, camera, binoculars, small flashlight, and a sense of adventure!
