The guides at Loving Light Amazon Lodge were born and raised in the Peruvian rainforest and have many years of experience in trekking as well as in rainforest ecology.  It is their land and a place they truly love. They explain that the jungle is not dangerous, only that it and all its creatures must be treated with respect and sensitivity.

In addition to daytime excursions from the lodge, they are also well versed in all aspects of single or multi-night expeditions into the deeper forests via canoe or boat.
