The
last human settlement on the upper Yanayacu River, Loving Light Amazon Lodge is
surrounded by an exotic jungle alive with monkeys, tapir, boars, iguana, fish, alligators,
and birds of every imaginable color and song. After a day of exploration, you can retire
to your private thatched-roof hut with comfortable beds, shower, flush toilet, basin, and
kerosene lighting. There is no electricity, only the glow of the moon, stars, and
fireflies which seemingly pulsate to the music of the jungle night life. And in the morning
you awaken to the beautiful chorus of a thousands birds, each singing their own unique
song. If you've never meditated before, these birds will take you there.
